BC400AA is a 19-inch, 1U rack-mountable battery cell charger capable of simultaneously charging up to 16x AA, AAA, or a mix of both totalling 16 NiMH and/or NiCd batteries.
Along with main power illuminated power on/off switch, the front facing panel of the charger hosts four battery trays for AA or AAA batteries. Each tray has four dedicated LEDs to show the current battery status of each battery within the corresponding tray. Permanent red LED indicates recharging; permanent green indicates battery is fully charged; and flashing red indicates a battery cell error or deep discharge. If no LED is illuminated it represents an unoccupied tray position.
Each battery tray can be removed via pressing the top lever whilst holding the bottom handle. Once removed the user can remove the battery cells – AA from the upper section, or AAA from the lower section of the tray.
The metal and plastic manufactured battery charger has ventilation slots on one of the side facing panels, and a fan on the other to ensure air circulates within. The rear facing panel house the IEC AC mains input connection and F1AL 250V (5x20mm) fuse holder.
