NTI MICROPHONE ADAPTER Matches 1/4 inch microphone to NTI Precision Calibrator

The battery operated Precision Calibrator is tailored for the calibration of sound level meters and other sound measurement equipment. It can provide an output level of either 94.0 or 114.0dB, switch-selected, at a frequency of 1 kHz. It has been designed for use in both field and laboratory; the accuracy has been calibrated to a reference traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

It provides a stable sound pressure independent of the battery condition. It will turn off automatically to preserve battery and guarantee a stable output.

The case has an aperture for 1/2 inch transducers, but can be used on 1/4 inch units with the addition of the optional adapter that MUST BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY.

Calibration sound pressure level: 114.0 dB and 94.0 dB +/- 0.2 dB SPL re: 20uPa. Reference conditions: 101.3 kPa, 23 degrees C and 50 percent RH. Temperature range: -10 to +50 degrees C; SPL variation less than +/- 0.4 dB; frequency variation less than +/- 7Hz. Power source: 1x PP3 size 9V battery (6LR61).
