LYNX YELLOBRIK FIBRE OPTIC EXTENDERS - Video - 3G/12G SDI

Designed to combat the restrictions involved with the distribution of uncompressed, broadcast-quality, video signals over long distances, these modules, part of the yellobrik range manufactured by Lynx Technik, extend video circuits over distances of up to 10km using fibre optic cables. SDI video signals are supported up to 3Gb/s; DVB-ASI is also supported. The range includes single and dual-channel fibre transmitters and receivers, as well as transceiver modules with both transmit and receive paths to provide bi-directional video circuits over, depending on model, a pair of fibres or, using WDM multiplexing, a single fibre. Modules may be used alone, or mounted in an optional rack-mounting frame.

Convenient for use over long-distance, point-to-point links, the modules are also a useful solution where the maximum reach of copper cables is reduced, by the high throughput required for HDTV 3G SDI, to an inconveniently short length. All modules support hot-swapping and hot-plugging.

OBD 1810 - 3G Bidirectional SDI/Fibre Transceiver

OBD 1810 is a bidirectional fibre optic to SDI transmitter and receiver which uses a single fibre link supplied in a compact self contained package. It is a convenient and cost effective solution to combat the restrictions involved with the distribution of uncompressed broadcast quality video signals over long distances. OBD 1810 modules are supplied in pairs, one Type A and one Type B which work together in a WDM closed loop application. Each module has an electrical SDI in and SDI out connection and uses a single fibre link between the two. Each channel is fully independent and can have different standards and formats of SDI video. The modules auto-detect and re-clock any 270Mbit/s, 1.5G and 3G SDI source prior to conversion. The modules are fully compatible with 3G Level A and Level B formats. Note: This system used WDM optical multiplexing and should only be used in point to point applications. This solution cannot be integrated into a CWDM multiplexed system. OTR 1410 is a fibre/SDI transmitter and receiver combined in a single self contained package. It is a cost-effective solution to combat the restrictions involved with the distribution of uncompressed, high bandwidth, broadcast quality video signals over long distances. Each OTR 1410 transceiver has an independent transmitter and receiver channel, which provides an effective solution for any SDI signal up to 12G (4096×2160 at 60Hz), while preserving full uncompressed quality. Operation of the receiver and transmitter is automatic. For transmission, the SDI video format is automatically detected, re-clocked and then transmitted over the fibre optic TX connection. For reception, the optical SDI video input signal on the RX connection is automatically detected, re-clocked and provided on the SDI output connection. OTR 1440 is a CWDM fibre optic to SDI transmitter and receiver combined in a compact self contained package. It is a convenient and cost-effective solution to combat the restrictions involved with the distribution of uncompressed broadcast quality video signals over long distances. Each OTR 1440 CWDM transceiver has an independent transmitter and receiver channel, which provides an effective solution for any SDI signal up to 12G (4096 x 2160 at 60Hz), while preserving full uncompressed quality. Select from 16 transmitter wavelengths for full CWDM compatibility (ITU-T G.694.2). OTR 1440 will auto-detect and re-clock any 1.5G, 3G, 6G, or 12G SDI source prior to conversion. OTR 1810 - 3G Bidirectional SDI/Fibre Transceiver

This as an independent fibre receiver and transmitter in a single package. Paired with another OTR 1810 module, the combination provides a single-channel bi-directional transmission system for signals up to 3Gb/s (1080p60). Using the same basic module, two versions are available; each has a different SFP installed, providing either singlemode or multimode fibre connections on LC fibre. Singlemode versions offer up to 10km range for 3G SDI, the multimode version offers up to 300m for 3G SDI. They may also be used in conjunction with the appropriate ports and fibre modes of OTX 1812, OTT 1812, ORX 1802 and ORR 1802 modules. Power: +12V DC at 2W nominal.
