RFR 1001 Single Module Mounting Bracket
The RFR 1001 is a robust metal mounting bracket for a single Yellobrik. The bracket can accommodate the smaller and larger modules using the mounting slots provided in the Yellobrik.
The bracket can be mounted on any flat surface, using suitable screws or bolts (not supplied). The mounting holes are on 19-inch rack-strip centres, which makes it suitable for mounting Yellobriks in the rear of equipment rack-frames, keeping them secure and out of the way. Modules are secured in the bracket by a nylon thumbscrew.
RFR 1200 1U Powered Rack Frame
RFR 1200 is able to accommodate up to 14 Yellobrik modules in 1U of rack space. The rack frame has adjustable fittings so that it can be recessed within the rackmount case. The modules are mounted vertically, and clamped securely in place. Each slot has its own integrated power connector on a power bus. The rack has two 12V DC inputs for power, one for primary power, the second for redundant backup. Primary and redundant power LEDs are located in the front panel as well as GPI connections for the power-supply failure alarms. RPS A100 power supplies should be ordered separately.
RFR 1200 will accommodate both small and large format modules with the exception of OCM, OSP, OTR 1441, OTR 1442, OTR 1A41, or OTR 1A42. Note that if large module is fitted 3U of space will be required in the rack.
While the frame will accommodate all Yellobriks, it is ideally suited for the Yellobrik fibre converters, which are typically used in larger numbers. Fibre connections are on the front and the SDI copper connection in the rear. A space is left open on one side to route the fibre loops from front to rear. The RX and TX activity LEDs for the modules fibre connections can be seen clearly from the front with the modules installed. Dimensions: 1U rack mounting, 145mm deep. When fitted with the larger modules, the assembly will take up 3U rack space in total. Weight: 1.6kg, without modules or power supply.
RFR 1018 0.5U Rack Frame for passive fibre modules
The RFR 1018 Mounting Tray is designed to accommodate combinations of one or two OCM 9-channel optical MUX/DEMUX modules, up to four OCM 4-channel modules or up to 4 Yellobrik passive optical splitters, providing a secure mounting platform in any standard 19 inch rack. Modules are easily installed from the front and held securely in place a thumbscrew.
When combined with the RFR 1000 Chassis (which can accommodate up to 14 fibre Yellobriks) a fully featured 18 channel modular CWDM system can be achieved in a total of 1.5RU rack space.
RPS A100-UK, RPS A100-EU Rack Frame Power Supply
RFR 1000-1 is supplied WITHOUT a power supply. An optional RPS A100 external power supply provides enough power for any combination of Yellobriks. A second unit can be used for redundant backup. The RPS A100 is an in-line design with a captive cable to the RFR 1000 and an IEC inlet and cable with either a UK or EU plug. Output: 12V DC, 10.0A maximum. Power source: 100-240V AC, 50-60Hz, less than or equal to 2A. Dimensions: 137 x 59 x 34mm, excluding cable.
All Yellobrik (except the passive MUX and splitter/combiner modules) are supplied as standard with an RPS 1001 universal plug-top type power supply. If additional, alternative or replacement supplies are needed they may be ordered separately.
The RPS 1001 plug-top type is suitable for powering a single Yellobrik module and is supplied with UK, US, European and Australian snap-on adapters. Power source: 100-240V AC, 50-60Hz. Output: 10-15V AC, 1.5A maximum, 15W maximum. Dimensions: 68 x 46 x 38mm, excluding cable and AC contacts.
The RPS 1003 in-line design is suitable for powering a single Yellobrik and has an IEC AC inlet (order suitable IEC lead separately) and an attached DC cable for connection to the module. Power source: 100-240V AC, 47-63Hz. Output: 12V, 1.25A maximum. Dimensions: 90 x 35 x 35mm excluding cable.
Both these connect a single Yellobrik module to a source of 12V DC, and have a cable length of 1.8m, one has a P-tap connector to connect to a 12V source, the other a 4-pin male XLR.
