RECEIVERS

EM-6000 DANTE Receiver

This true-diversity, 2-channel, fixed receiver is in a 1U rack mounting chassis. Using digital technology, the EM6000 combines two receiver paths to provide a more solid reception with less risk of dropout. An Audinate Brooklyn II card provides the DANTE connectivity feature set required to successfully integrate into a new or an existing DANTE network.

The rear panel houses the AC power inlet, RF I/O for channels A and B via BNC connection, transformer-balanced audio output via a 3-pin XLR and 6.35mm jack sockets for channels 1 and 2, word clock I/O via BNC, 48/96kHz 24-bit AES3 digital audio output via 3-pin XLR, Ethernet connection via RJ-45 network connection, and 48/96kHz 24-bit DANTE connection also via RJ45 socket. The front of the receiver has two OLED displays, one for each of the two channels, showing information including name, RF signal, AF level, transmitter battery status, frequency selection, group, and menu functionality. Controls per channel include a rotary control to navigate through the menu, and four preset buttons to 'escape' (ESC), save, sync, and monitor. A 6.35mm jack headphone output is situated on the left, along with a rotary headphone volume control. A power button is located on the right side of the front panel.

Power source: 90-240V AC, 50/60Hz, 35W maximum. Dimensions: 483 x 373 x 44 (WxDxH)mm. Weight: 5.2kg, approximately.

Included accessories: 1x UK mains cable, quick guide, safety guide, 2x antennas, 2x 50ohm BNC antenna cables, 2x rubber feet.

EM-6000 Receiver

This has all the features of the EM-6000 DANTE with the exception of the DANTE capabilities. This model can not be upgraded to add DANTE functionality.

TRANSMITTERS

SKM-6000 Transmitter - Handheld

The SKM6000 is a handheld transmitter with a magnesium housing, designed for vocal whether singing or speaking. The body-only transmitter is compatible with optional capsules from the 2000 series, Digital 9000 series, Neumann KK204/205 series and Sennheiser Evolution G4 series, see SENNHEISER MICROPHONES - Headworn. Optional battery packs are available as either the B-60 which takes 2x AA option cells or the BA-60 Lithium Ion battery pack, which gives up to 5.5hours of operation. The power button is situated at the bottom of the front side of the microphone.

A low cut-off frequency can be adjusted in steps from 60/80/100/120Hz, with a capable audio frequency response of 30Hz to 20kHz (3dB). Audio gain can be adjusted in steps of 3dB from 0dB to +62dB can be set by the operator for maximum compatibility for the attached capsule. A screen is situated on the main body of the handheld transmitter, displaying important information including frequency, signal, battery life, grouping and more. Three cursor buttons are situated near the base of the microphone allowing the operator or engineer to navigate the menu and adjust settings to their requirements.

The transmitter is offered in three frequency bands:

Model Frequency band
SKM 6000 A1-A4 470-558MHz
SKM 6000 A5-A8 550-638MHz
SKM 6000 B1-B4 630-718MHz

Power consumption: 960mW. Operating time: 5.5 hours (with LI battery pack). Dimensions: 270 x 40 (LxD)mm. Weight: 350g, approximately, with BA60 battery pack and microphone head.

Included accessories: 1x MZQ 9000 microphone clamp, safety guide, quick guide.

SK-6212 Transmitter – Miniature Belt pack

This moisture and sweat resistant bodypack transmitter has been designed to be ‘ultra-compact’ and lightweight for use in musicals, theatre and broadcast applications. The physical design has rounded corners for easy concealment under or within clothing. SK6212 is operational for up to 12hours with the optional BA-62 lithium-polymer rechargeable battery. A ‘Long-Range’ RF mode enables the user to combine within a system of Digital 9000 or EK6042 slot-in type receiver. The Beltpack transmitter uses AES256 encryption for the 14mW RMS (standard more) or 4mW RMS (low power mode) radio frequency transmission. SK6212 is capable of tuning in 25kHz steps for ‘intermodulation-free’ transmission.

Like the SK6000 the SK6212 features a display on the front with three buttons for up, down, and select/enter. A power button is located above the screen on the front facing side. A green LED signifies power on. Both aerial connection and 3-pin locking microphone connector are positioned on the top edge of the Beltpack transmitter. The included antenna is removable via threaded connector. Both horizontal and vertical orientation belt clips are included to suit a wider range of positions. These belt clips are also available as spares as 508570 (horizontal) and 508571 (vertical).

The transmitter is offered in three frequency bandwidths:

Model Frequency band
