LYNX YELLOBRIK FIBRE OPTIC EXTENDERS - Single link coax 12G 4K-UHD, 6G, 3G-HD, 1.5G-SD SDI COAX - 10km

OTX-1410 transmitter, ORX-1400 receiver and OTR-1410 transceiver yellobriks are compact SDI to fibre optic transmitters and receivers for uncompressed 12G UHD (4096x2160/60Hz), 6G, 3G and 1.5G SDI video standards. Designed to combat the restrictions involved with the distribution of single-link, uncompressed, high bandwidth, broadcast quality video signals over long distances by converting the SDI to fibre for the distance transmission.

They are housed in the familiar small yellobrik case and will operate from a 110-220V AC supply or 7-24V DC. An optional yellobrik rack-mounting frame, which is available with a dual (redundant) power option, can house up to fourteen yellobriks.

Operation is fully automatic. The OTX 1410 detects the format of the SDI video input, re-clocks it and transmits it over the fibre-optic connection while providing a re-clocked, coaxial, SDI loop-through output. The ORX 1400 receiver detects the fibre input signal and provides two, re-clocked, SDI outputs. The OTR 1410 transceiver provides a single input and output for both coax and fibre, with automatic format detection and re-clocking for two-way SDI transmission over a duplex singlemode fibre.

The 12Gbit/s SFPs are proprietary LYNX designs and are not available separately.

Currently not suitable for CWDM optical multiplex systems.
