Two-row jackfields, 48-way, 4.4mm, Mosses & Mitchell zinc or nickel-plated, bantam type, long-frame jacks per row in a robust, extruded aluminium 1U panel. Three layouts are available; “stereo paired” or “mono pitch”, both in two blocks of 24 per row with a “centre divide” and a mono pitch “continuous” version with no centre divide. Complete with single lacing-bar and snap-on cover designation strips.
To achieve the most cost-effective solution without compromising quality, the top rows are 3-point non-switching jacks and the bottom rows are 5-point, palladium-contact switching jacks with either brass or nickel-plated sleeve rings. Almost all analogue applications use jackfields in half-normalled configuration which does not need the 5-point switching jacks in the top row, so why fit features that are not going to be used?
Templates for printing designation strip labels, available as a DWG file for AutoCAD and compatible applications, can be downloaded from the appropriate product page on the Canford website.
Recess rack-mounting brackets are available to recess panels within the rack, see Canford Rackbracket - Recess mounting brackets.
