DLZ Creator from Mackie has been designed for podcasting and streaming in applications including broadcast, YouTube streaming, podcasts and live event.
Said to enable the user to be 'a better content producer', DLZ Creator includes features including Mix Agent - an assisting guide to aid channel setup; AutoMix to manage levels for up to four microphone channels to ensure clarity; Mix Minus for use with Bluetooth connected smartphones; and recording to computer, microSD card, or USB flash drive. Audio processing includes 3-band parametric EQ with high pass filtering, noise gate, de-esser, compression, reverb and delay.

The main facing panel of the DLZ Creator features a 10.1-inch touchscreen, 7x 100mm faders for input control, a single fader for the sample playback channel, 6x sample playback pads, main output channel 100mm fader, navigation buttons, and 5x colour identified quick control rotary controls. The rotary knobs control the function highlighted with the same colour on the touchscreen display. Latching channel solo and mute buttons are positioned above the associated channel fader. All mute, solo, sample trigger and navigation buttons are backlit.
The rear facing panel houses all I/O connectivity including 4x balanced combination 3-pin XLR/6.35mm jack mic/line inputs, L/R 6.35mm jack line level inputs, dual balanced 6.35mm jack main output connections, 4x headphone outputs on 6.35mm jack, a single stereo 3.5mm input jack, USB-C port for computer connection, USB-A connection, RJ45 network connection, and 18V, 1.5A barrel type connection for power. A latching power switch and microSD card slot are also located on the rear facing panel. The microSD card enables the user to multitrack record 12 channels together with main mix at 24-bit, 48kHz.
