In-line cable-mounting switch, specifically intended for use in headset or microphone cables, for push-to-talk or push-to-cough, but with other applications where 2-pole N/O or N/C switching is required. The switch is supplied in kit form, with two SPDT form C microswitches, rated 10 amps 250V DC. The switches are positively mounted over two spring pins inside the high impact two-part housing, and each can be wired either N/O or N/C. Two vinyl strain reliefs with metal retainers hold cables up to 4.6mm in diameter firmly in place. The plastic push-button switch can activate the microswitches in either a momentary or latched mode. A small clothing/belt clip is firmly attached to the housing and can be rotated through 360° to attach the switch assembly in any desired position.
