Used to distribute a DMX signal, these splitters support the bidirectional extension to the DMX protocol to accommodate Remote Device Management (RDM). They is used in larger DMX networks where more than simple loop-in, loop-out connections between multiple DMX devices (to a maximum of 32 devices) are needed. This range offers models with one input to 5 outputs as well as rack mounting models with dual inputs to ten total outputs.
DT125 Series
The DT125 splitters boost a single DMX signal to create a 'star' network of five additional DMX lines. They are offered as a desktop style design, which may be 'truss' mounted using the M10 threaded bush on the underside, or as DIN rail mounting designs. All DMX/RDM outputs are boosted signals to connect up to 32 devices per output. They have opto-coupler isolation for the input, FI types have full isolation.
These have on the front panel five female XLR connectors for DMX outputs and a power indicator The rear has XLR connectors for input and 'thru' connections, male and female respectively. There is also a USB connection for firmware updates and a captive power lead. Variants offer either 3-pin or 5-pin connectors and a fully isolated model. Power source: 100-240V AC 50/60Hz. Dimensions: 45 x 150 x 200mm. Weight: 1.5kg.
Optional accessories: RMDT 19 inch rack mounting kit.
Designed for network system integration projects, these are functionally identical to the desktop style versions above, these are housed in a DIN rail module, with DMX I/O and power terminated via 3-pin screw terminals. DT125 DIN FI is fully isolated. Power source: 9-24V DC, 200mA external power supply required. Mounting: 35mm DIN EN 60715 rail mount, occupies 6 DIN module spaces (108mm).
The DT2210 splitters are rack-mounting devices that can create a 'star' network of a total of ten additional DMX lines, from a choice of two DMX inputs. The front panel has ten female, 5-pin XLR connectors for DMX outputs, grouped in pairs that can be selected to input A or B by pressing the adjacent panel push button. LEDS show signal presence on the two inputs. The rear has XLR connectors for input and 'thru' connections, male and female respectively. There is also a USB connection for firmware updates and a captive power lead. DT2210FI is the fully isolated variant. Power source: 100-240V AC 50/60Hz. Dimensions: 45 x 165 x 445mm. Weight: 2.5kg.
Note(1): External power supply required, not included.
