These miniature 3.5mm 3-pole jack plugs and sockets have screw terminal connections. This innovative design avoids the need for soldering so is particularly suitable for field termination. The clearly labelled terminal block on each connector takes the place of the solder tabs, allowing termination with just a screwdriver.
The plug has a micro terminal block (jewellers' screwdriver required) and a two-piece cover that snaps together to give a neat finished appearance. The panel socket fits a 12.7mm hole with anti-rotation flat, and is supplied with single fixing nut.
