In dark venues, EMO Racklights make it easy to read the control settings of equipment mounted in the rack below, by providing localised illumination while keeping light-spillage to a minimum. Two models are available, the standard version has a downward-facing light in a sliding tray, mounted in a 1U space; the enhanced version can be linked to a wired intercom system and set to flash if a 'call' signal is detected.
E810 - Light only
The EMO E810 Racklight is 1U in height and is designed to be sited at the top of equipment racks. It uses LED technology to supply a white, high-brightness light source, which sits inside a sliding tray, allowing it to be extended forward from the rack, to provide even illumination of the equipment mounted below and to reduce shadows. The light may be dimmed using the up/down buttons mounted on top of the light tray on the right hand side. Depressing both buttons simultaneously acts as an on/off switch.
The tray slides in and out on runners and works on the 'fridge door' principle - the light goes out as the tray clicks shut. The tray locks flush with the front of the Racklight for transportation and will stay closed even if the rack tips forward. Gently pushing on the front panel unlocks the tray, which then slides forward ready to be placed at the desired open position.
AC power is connected to a rear-mounted IEC inlet. As standard, the Racklight is set for 230V operation. Racklights set for 115V working are available to special order, please contact Sales.

E820 - With intercom 'call' indication
The E820 LED Racklight shares the same features and specifications as the E810 but has, in addition, a 3-pin female XLR on the rear panel for linking directly to a Tecpro or RTS wired intercom system. The Racklight automatically detects 'call' signals on the intercom line and will flash brightly to alert operators who are not wearing their headsets that a colleague is calling. The unit flashes at full brightness even if the LED light was previously dimmed. When it is not required, the 'call' alert feature can be switched off using the enable/disable buttons in the middle of the light tray.
