Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling 2 is a microphone array certified for use with Microsoft Teams, Rooms (when deployed with Microsoft-certified DSPs), with automatic beamforming and voice detection, design to be installed in or suspended from a ceiling within a meeting room, board room, or lecture hall.
Set up via Sennheiser Control Cockpit, TeamConnect Ceiling 2 allows speakers to move freely within in the meeting room, whilst being tracked by the beamforming technology within the microphone. The microphone is recommended to be positioned within 4-5metres above the participant, therefore is best suited to suspension for higher ceilings. The minimum distance suitable from microphone to floor is 2.5m. Both analogue and Dante digital outputs are incorporated to ensure connectivity options suit most applications and pre-installed video or audio conferencing systems.
The visible underside of the microphone (when mounted) features four multi-coloured status LEDs – which can be configured with dedicated software. The microphone array consists of 28x KE10-237 microphone capsules which form an ‘X’ profile across the surface.
The surface of the TeamConnect Ceiling 2 that faces the ceiling houses all I/O connectivity including Primary and Secondary Dante outputs for digital audio. Both Dante outputs are by way of RJ45 connector, with the Secondary connection configurable for either redundancy or switched mode. A 3-pin Phoenix connector allows analogue audio output, whilst a third RJ45 connection allows for Control and PoE – configurable via Sennheiser Control Cockpit. The 3-pin audio output is factory preset to line-level output, however the user can switch between line and mic level from the Control Cockpit app. Finally, a reset button allows the user to return the unit to factory default by pressing and holding for 5 seconds.

Mounting Options
A surface mounting ceiling bracket to allow installation of TeamConnect Ceiling 2 directly to a hard ceiling surface. Kit includes: 1x metal mount, 4x metal angle pieces, 8x M4X8 Torx-T20 screws, 4x M4X12 Torx-T20 screws.
The kit allows the installer to suspend the TeamConnect Ceiling 2 by up to 5m from the ceiling. Kit includes: 4x ceiling installation threads, 4x 5m steel cables, 4x ceiling housing threads.
Designed to allow the installer to fix the TeamConnect Ceiling 2 into a pre-installed 625mm ceiling grid, thus making the microphone flush mount. Kit includes: 4x metal angle brackets, 4x M3X8 Torx-T10 housing screws.
A VESA mounting bracket with 100x100mm and 200x200mm compatibility for the TeamConnect Ceiling 2. Kit includes: VESA mounting plate, 4x housing screws.
