DPA surround microphones and surround microphone kits have been designed to aid sound recordists in film, 5.1 television broadcast, sports events, and gaming environments. They allow the user to accurately position multiple microphones for maximum coverage and effect.
Designed as a compact plug-and-play microphone, 5100 Mobile is an array of five miniature pressure transducers that have been time aligned to eliminate comb filtering. Output is by way of single Lemo connection, which is compatible with the included DAO5105 breakout cable. The microphone can also be stand mounted, suspended from the ceiling, or boompole mounted via the upper or lower 3/8-inch thread connection.

S5 DECCA TREE Mount, for surround microphone array
Decca Tree is a dedicated microphone mounting system for DPA pencil microphones. It has been designed to allow user to best position microphones in a surround array, along with the ability to position like OCT2, Hamasaki Square, and Fukada Tree.
The kit consists of a single centre disk with thread adapter, 5x telescopic boom arms with mic holders, 8x short extension units, 9x long extension units, 5x rear centre disks, 1x telescopic extensions unit, and 1x suspension hook.
