Designed for easy replacement and available in cardioid, supercardioid and omnidirectional polar patterns, the interchangeable cartridges offer 'wide frequency response and accurate sound reproduction for a wide variety of applications', such as houses of worship, courtrooms and conference centres.

In addition, condenser cartridges fit every model in the Microflex product line for enhanced convenience and consistent sound. The polar pattern of the cartridge supplied is indicated by the model number suffix: C = Cardioid, S = Supercardioid, O= Omnidirectional, N= No Cartridge Supplied (to purchase separately see R183B, R184B and R185B for black or R183W, R184W and R185W for white capsules).
