For use indoors or outdoors, these horns are made of lightweight ABS resin, mechanically strong and resistant to impact, finished with polyurethane-resin paint to stand up to many years of outdoor installation. Stainless steel hardware avoids corrosion and the enclosures are resistant to dust and water
The loudspeakers comply with the IP-64 standard, dust-proof and water-spray proof.
The CS-64 has a cylindrical exponential horn which improves directivity characteristics and ensures 'uniform and clear sound dispersion'. The CS-154 and CS-304 models each have a constant directivity horn for 'clear sound output' over a horizontal coverage of 90 degrees. A rotary impedance-selector switch is fitted so that the impedance taps may be changed during and after speaker installation.
All three models have a dynamic driver with a 120mm cone, treated to withstand splashes. The diver of the CS-64 is protected by a dark grey, powder-coated, punched-steel grille, whilst the protection grilles of the CS-154 and CS-304 are grey-painted aluminium. The enclosure is supplied with a yoke-style fixing bracket with fixing holes. Connections are by means of the captive speaker cable, 500mm long, 6mm diameter.
Note (1): SPL for 1W at 1 metre. (2) (WxHxD)
All speakers are priced and sold singly.
