GS-HA008 - Desktop, two amplifiers
Manufactured from 'lightweight and robust' aluminium, GS-HA008 has two independent input channels that can be routed separately to left ear, right ear, or both, across both headphone amplifiers. Each input channel has individual coarse gain controls and each headphone amplifier has separate left/right headphone volume controls. There is audio on 3-pin XLR connection, and DC power pass through for daisy-chaining, making it a good choice for orchestras and other populated areas. Headphone outputs are by way of balanced 6.35mm jack sockets. Each of the two amplifiers also has a phase reverse toggle switch. The headphone amplifier auto-powers down when no headphones are inserted into the jack connections.

GS-HA009 - Beltpack, single amplifier
GS-HA009 has been designed to be used as a mono belt pack headphone amplifier and is suitable for driving mono or stereo headphones and earpieces from 8-2000ohms. The amplifier has a small inbuilt loudspeaker to be employed for simple monitoring. THe loudspeaker is automatically disconnected when a headphone jack connection is made. A on/off switchable limiter is built in for the protection of a user's ears from sudden loud input signals. The audio input is by way of balanced 3-pin XLR with a male 3-pin XLR connection also provided as a loop through for daisy chaining several devices together. The top facing panel hosts the 6.35mm headphone jack connection, a rotary output level controller and a 20dB gain switch to boost the input level if required. Powering is via a single 9V PP3 battery cell, and as the GS-HA009 runs at a very low current it is said by Glensound to 'provide a very long battery life'.
GS-HA010 - Portable, single amplifier
GS-HA010 is a portable, beltpack style device with single channel inbuilt headphone amplifier that is described by Glensound as 'very rugged to withstand the rigours of portable use'. Optimal impedance of headphones to be used is 32-1000ohms.
Audio input is via balanced 3-pin XLR with a loop through also on 3-pin XLR connection. Both in and out connections are positioned on the bottom of the headphone amplifier. On the top facing panel of the GS-HA010 are two headphone sockets, with one being via 6.35mm jack connection and the other on 3.5mm jack connection. These outputs are wired tip and sleeve to allow connection of standard stereo headphones with audio on both ears, or a single ear piece. A rotary volume control is positioned next to the output connections for adjustment of level for 32-1000ohm impedance headphones. Power is via a 9v PP3 battery, which allows approximately 18 hours of use, or via external DC power. There is an on/off switch and an LED to signify low battery power.
Along with a belt clip on the rear facing side, there are loop anchor points on each of the front corners for compatible shoulder straps or for tying down.

Powering: 12-20v, less than 26mA, external DC or 9V alkaline PP3 battery cell. Battery life: Greater than 18 hours, based on alkaline battery in normal conditions. Dimensions (LxW): 153 x 73mm.
GS-HA011 - Portable, single amplifier
This unit is very similar to Glensound GS-HA010, however it has the addition of input gain control and a transformer balanced input. Optimal impedance of headphones to be used is 32-1000ohms.
Input type: Transformer balanced. Input impedance: Greater than 20kohms. Input range: -20dBu to +8dBu. Output range: -20dBu to +10dBu. Frequency response: Less than -1dBu 50Hz - 16KHz. Noise: Greater than -80dBu, CCIR Un-weighted Q Peak at Lineup. Maximum output: +19dBu, 10Kohms; +16dBu, 600ohms. Distortion: Less than 0.25%, 100Hz - 1kHz; Less than 0.02%, 1K - 10KHz. Powering: 12-20v, less than 26mA, external DC or 9V alkaline PP3 battery cell. Battery life: Greater than 18 hours, based on alkaline battery in normal conditions. Dimensions (LxW): 153 x 73mm.
GS-HA013 - Desktop, single amplifier
Glensound GS-HA013 has been manufactured to be 'small, robust and economical'. The unit provides a single headphone amplifier with switching to allow each input to be routed to the left ear, right ear, or both. Two headphone jack connections, 1x 6.35mm and 1x 3.5mm, are provided. These are wired in parallel and are suitable for use with both A and B gauge jack plugs. Audio input is via dual 3-pin XLR connections, A and B, which would normally be used to feed both left and right channels of the headphone amp. A switch is provided to allow an unbalanced stereo signal input on just one of these XLR input connections to be fed to both channels of the headphone amp. A phase reverse of the right ear facility is provided in the way of a small toggle switch.
Powered via a single 9V PPS battery cell or optional external DC power supply, a toggle switch allows on/off power switching and is accompanied by a 'bright' blue LED. This LED doubles as a battery indicator, flashing when the battery is running low. Optimal impedance of headphones to be used is 32-1000ohms.
Input impedance: Greater than 50kohms, balanced; greater than 22kohms, unbalanced. Input gain range: -20dBu to +8dBu. Frequency response: Less than -1dBu 20Hz - 20KHz. GS-HA014 - Deskmount, single amplifier
Designed as an under-desk mountable headphone amplifier for studio environments, GS-HA014 offers a single amplifier with 6.35mm and 3.5mm jack socket is available for the headphones and a full size, covered pot allows level adjust. The headphone outputs are accessible to presenters and/or guests when mounted under the desktop. Audio inputs via 2x balanced 6.35mm jack sockets. As the GS-HA014 has been designed for use with a wide range of input levels, a pair of preset gain controls accessed via small holes in the top of the unit allow both broadcast (0dB) and domestic (-10dB) input levels to be accommodated. Optimal impedance of headphones to be used is 32-1000ohms.
Multiple units can be linked via CAT5 for powering, with up to eight units being able to be connected from a single optional external 9V DC supply. Via an internal jumper, audio can also be routed via the same CAT5 connections as the power.
Ordering note: The external power supply is not included and at least one must be used to power the unit.
