WS Series
Available in black or white finish, WS series installation speakers have been designed with IP54 weather resistance for indoor or outdoor use in various applications from small-sized venues to mid- to large-sized venues. The loudspeaker series comprises of four models ranging from the 2.5-inch, full-range and 'compact-sized' WS15T, to the 6.5inch, 2-way WS80T. The 2-way models adopt an asymmetric horn design to cover a wider audience areas. Horizontal coverage near-field is 120 degree, and far-field is 60 degree for long distance and vertical coverage +20 degree upward and -40 degree downward. This allows a wide coverage of nearby area without having to perform unnecessary tilting. EASE and EASE Focus Simulation data can be provided to conduct 3D simulation for sound optimisation.
The series contains speakers with 15W, 30W, 50, or 80W outputs, and taps located on the rear panel of each loudspeaker allow the user to select from 70/100V line and 8ohm low impedance setting. The 2-way models the voice coil part of the low-frequency driver and the tweeter is physically offset. The physical time alignment allows the system to eliminate the cause of lobe or small shift in polar response on axis at the crossover point.
Each loudspeaker includes a 'knuckle' bracket for fixing to wall surface. The knuckle bracket allows the user to rotate the speaker from left to right and up and down to better suit the positional requirements of the room. This also ensure flexibility in installations where walkable areas change.
