The GS-OSC001 is a digital oscillator offering unique features. The design provides both an AES digital and two analogue audio outputs simultaneously, variable in both frequency and level. In addition there are two 1kHz, 0dBu, analogue, fixed outputs.
The front panel has a five-segment LED display showing the selected frequency in Hz. Push buttons for up and down are used to select the frequency from nine preset values; 40Hz, 100Hz, 400Hz, 1kHz, 2kHz, 6kHz, 10kHz, 12kHz, and 15kHz. A second two-segment LED display shows the selected output level. Push buttons for up and down are used to select the output level in 1dB steps from +18dB to -18dB. A further press down gives an output of -50dB, then a further press turns the output off. (0dB = -18dBFS, 0dBu).
The rear panel has five outputs, using 3-pin male XLR connectors. Three provide the AES output and the two analogue oscillator outputs as defined by the settings on the front panel. The two remaining provide the fixed analogue outputs. An IEC inlet accepts AC power.
Analogue outputs: Electronically balanced, 50 ohms. Power source: 100-240V. Dimensions: 1U rack mounting, 207mm deep. Weight: 1.62kg.
Included accessories: AC power cable, manual.
