Muxlab Dante converters offer a gateway from or to digital audio equipment using Dante protocol. This selection of interfaces have been designed for studios, corporate offices, and broadcast where an audio signal can be better controlled over IP network and interfacing.
500765 - 4-channel, Analogue to Dante
This Dante gateway device allows the input of two stereo channels or four mono channels of analogue audio and converts to Dante audio output before conveying the signal up to 100metres from an Ethernet switch over Cat5e or Cat6 cable. 500765 also have four independent analogue audio outputs and gives the user the option to send digital audio over Dante to the unit before processing, and outputting in analogue format to an amplifier such as 500217, or powered monitoring. This is particularly useful if a user wishes to send digital audio via IP to multiple rooms or locations such as department stores or chains.
The front facing panel of the interface features two LEDs, a yellow LED that signifies an active link, and a blue LED to signify power vie PoE or optional 12VDC power supply. There are line/mic/48V switches for channels one and two, along with recessed, rotary gain controllers. Channels three and four offer the same gain controllers but no input type switching. Finally a reset button is located to the right of the front facing panel, accessed via a pin or similar tool.
The rear facing panel of the unit offers DC power input for optional 500989 PSU, screw for grounding, and RJ45 connection for LAN. Analogue audio I/O, which can be wired balanced or unbalanced, is via 6-pin phoenix connectors.
Dimensions (WxDxH): 120 x 111 x 25mm. Weight: 0.7kg
500551 - 2-channel, Analogue to Dante
500551 2-channel Dante encoder allows non-Dante compatible analogue audio equipment to interface with professional Dante compatible audio equipment. The unit allows the transmission of 20Hz to 20KHz balanced or unbalanced analogue signals. It can be powered using either PoE from any PoE network switch or via local with an optional 12v power supply.
Audio sampling rates supported include 44.1kHz, 48kHz, and 96kHz at 24bit. Audio input, by way of Phoenix style connector, supports +18dBu, 0dBu, and -10dBV gain adjustment.
Dimensions (WxDxH): 120 x 47 x 26mm. Weight: 186g
500552 - 2-channel, Dante to Analogue
This unit has the same feature set as 500551 however it functions in reverse - Dante input to 2-channel analogue audio output.
Dimensions (WxDxH): 120 x 47 x 26mm. Weight: 186g
500550 - 2-channel, Dante to USB
A 2-channel USB 2.0 audio encoder/decoder that has been designed to both encode 2-channel USB audio to a Dante digital signal, and decode a Dante digital signal to 2-channel USB audio output. 500550 is plug and play and can be powered using either PoE from any PoE network switch or via 5V from the USB device.
Audio sampling rates supported include 44.1kHz, 48kHz, and 96kHz at 24bit.
Dimensions (WxDxH): 120 x 47 x 26mm. Weight: 186g
