CANFORD RACK PANEL BLANK, HALF WIDTH 1U Extruded aluminium, black painted

CANFORD RACKPANEL - HALF RACK WIDTH - Blank rack panels

Half rack-width blanking panels may be used to add support to half rack-width equipment fitted with mounting flanges, ensuring secure mounting of the equipment, a tidy appearance and the integrity of rack-cooling airflow. Half-rack joining plates, punched to accept two columns of standard cage nuts, locate behind the blank panel and adjacent equipment or panel flanges.

Panels are also suitable for mounting connectors, switches, indicators or other items where an enclosure is not required and a more elegant solution such as the Canford 'Universal connection system - half rack width' which simplifies mounting a variety of connectors and switches without the need to machine the panel - is not possible. Three sizes and five finishes are offered to suit most applications and aesthetics. These panels may also be used to blank-off any unused space in Canford Rackbox, half width wall racks..

Panels

Manufactured from lightweight but extremely rigid aluminium extrusion, available in 1U, 2U and 3U sizes, they are available in brushed, silver or black anodized and dawn grey, dark grey or black paint finishes.

Other sizes and finishes are available to special order, minimum order quantities may apply. Please contact sales for details.

Joining Plates

Half-rack joining plates, punched to accept two columns of standard cage nuts, locate behind and between the blank panel and adjacent equipment or panels. Plates are manufactured from 14 gauge (2.0mm) steel strip and finished in clear passivated zinc plate. Joining plates must be ordered separately.
