Deltron are the largest and most well-known manufacturer of DIN connectors in the UK, although they are often sold under other distributors’ names.
Features common to all types are zinc alloy shells finished bright nickel plate or matt black plate. Contacts are silver plated brass, with nylon base mouldings and black PVC strain relief grommets. Contacts rated 4A, 100V DC. 5 pin 180° types have 45° between pins.
Plugs
Type 610
Non-latching plugs, mate with all sockets. Nickel plated finish.
As type 610, but matt black plated finish.
Panel sockets
Circular socket retained by rear locking hex nut, mates and latches with Deltron type 590 and 591 plugs. Mates but does not latch with all other DIN plugs. Nickel plated finish. Panel cut-out 15.8mm with anti-rotational spigot.
