HR10 Series

Miniature 4, 6 and 12 pin connectors, 5 keyway orientation guides and sliding ring locking (pull to de-latch, automatic latch engagement on insertion). Pin contacts recessed to prevent damage when trying to find correct keyway alignment. Matt nickel finish zinc/brass alloy shells, gold plated pins. Cable diameter range 4.8-5.2mm (4 and 6 pin types), 6.8-7.2mm (12 pin types), smaller cables should be brought up to this diameter by using Hellerman sleeving. The plug insert is screwed into the shell, but as the main (sliding) part will rotate, the best method is to mate the insert with a chassis-mount type, and use this to hold the insert while the shell is screwed on. An open ended spanner is useful to tighten body onto insert, and cable clamp onto body, size 8mm across flats for 4 and 6 pin types, 11mm across flats for 12 pin type.

HR10A Series

A lower cost version of the HR10 series, these are fully compatible. Details are as for HR10, except that bodies have a knurled outer surface, and cable glands are plastic (metal on HR10 series).

JRC Series (Sony 'Q')

26 pin connectors, with 5 keyway orientation guides and 3 aperture bayonet locking ring on cable types. Matt nickel finish aluminium alloy shells. Inserts retained by 1.27mm hex socket head screw, suitable hex key available. Inter-mateable with other connectors to JIS C54JZ specification, also known as Sony ‘Q’ type connector. Maximum cable diameter 12.2mm.
