Neumann KMS series vocal microphones are intended for professional and semi-professional live applications, retaining the high level of sound quality produced by other Neumann professional microphones. All microphones in the range are available in either nickel or black finish.

Available in nickel and black this cardioid condenser microphone has been specifically designed to give the utmost quality to live vocalists. A 'robust', thick metal housing aids durability and helps protect against handling noise and the hardened, steel grille can be unscrewed for cleaning of internally-mounted acoustic filters. A fixed high-pass filter with a cutoff frequency of 120Hz helps reduce handling noise and rumble whilst a maximum sound pressure level of 150dB gives more scope for close-up use. The microphone has a 3-pin XLR connector and requires +48V phantom power. A padded nylon bag and SG 105 microphone clamp are included.
This has the same features and functionality of the KMS 104 and KMS 104 BK but has an extended bass response and boost at 100Hz to give the additional warmth and fullness of sound often sought for particular voice attributes or performance type.
This microphone has the same features and functionality of the KMS 104 and KMS 104 BK but has a super-cardioid pick-up pattern, making it more suited to stage performances where on stage monitoring is used.
