For RF applications, these 75 ohm connectors are typically used for RF distribution. They feature a nickel plated solid brass body, with a solid hex nut for easy installation and 360 degree cable gripping sleeve with a watertight O-ring. The centre conductor of the cable forms the centre pin of the connector.
Connector type DB6U has two 360 degree compression connections, one interior and one exterior, providing a permanent 'double bubble' connection for additional protection. This design is recommended for exposed location applications.
Recommended cables are CX100 and CT100 (Canford size group Y) or RG59 (Canford size group Q).
