Peli Protector cases are guaranteed unbreakable, for life. They are watertight, rugged, corrosion-proof and airtight. Constructed in a lightweight structural resin, the wall is unaffected by dents, scratches or corrosion. The neoprene 6mm O-ring seal ensures a watertight seal (to a depth of 10 metres) and prevents dust ingress (damaged O-rings can easily be replaced). The built-in pressure purge valve allows for quick equalisation after changes in altitude or temperature. 1120PF panel frame kit is designed to enable users to flush mount interface panels with the rim of the 1120 Protector Case. The kit includes the panel frame, a polymer O-ring to seal the panel, six inserts, and four self-tapping screws.

Large, robust latches hold cases securely closed, and there is a facility to attach Peli 1506TSA padlocks for extra security. The comfortable moulded handle folds down on all models, and some have wheels for easy handling. The receptacles for padlocks are re-enforced with metal.
