VT500X - Omnidirectional
Voice Technologies VT500X was originally developed for a reality TV show, and consists a VT500X miniature microphone integrated into a necklace made of rubber material.
This microphone is designed to be robust and waterproof to IPX-8, allowing water submersion up to 1m for up to 24hours. The microphone has a maximum sensitivity of 79dB, and therefore is compatible with bodypack transmitter that allow a high level of pre-amplification. VT500X has a 1.5mm diameter cable designed for 'robustness', that is 1.5m in length.
A click fastener allows for easy fitting to the performer/actor, and the microphone cable has been moulded directly into the capsule housing, which makes it 'virtually impossible to pull out'. RF-protection prevents interference from RF signals.
