This range of network switches is based on an Ethernet layer 2 switching engine with an optimised CPU controller. They are specifically designed for live entertainment applications with a mixture of data protocols. POE, VLAN and looping facilities are available depending on model.
DLS5PoE - Five ports
This is a professional Ethernet switch with five 10/1000Mbps front facing ports, providing power over Ethernet on four of the ports. It is built in a desktop case which may be 'truss mounted' using an M10 thread in the base. There is no fan, so it is 'completely silent'. Ethernet connections are made using Ethercon connectors. DLS10GBX - Ten ports, four with POE - Two SFP
This switch has four 1Gb network ports, each with PoE and RGB LED indication, on the front of a 1U rack-mounting case, with four 1Gb network ports and two SFP cages on the rear. The SFP cages are capable of up to 2.5Gb with fibre. Ethernet ports use Ethercon RJ 45 connectors. The switch has the ability to make virtual networks and redundant real-time loops with fault reporting. All may be programmed on a front-facing, colour, touch screen and rotary encoder control or remotely with ELC dmXLAN V4 software. It is compatible with DANTE and can be used as a master for the dmXLAN nodeGBx 8 (DLN8GBX). The rear panel has, in addition to the network ports, a Powercon True 1 inlet and loop outlet as well as two fans. Power source: 100-240V AC 50/60Hz. Dimensions: 45 x 165 x 445 mm.
