F1500-UPS E
Furman F1500-UPS E has been designed to offer power conditioning and battery backup to devices such as DAWs, satellite receivers, cable boxes, digital video recorders, media servers, external hard drives, lamp based video displays, and control systems. Furman suggest that high-current units such as powered subwoofers, power amplifiers, and high-wattage displays are not recommended to be using in conjunction with F1500-UPS E due to battery drainage.
The rear facing panel houses four banks of IEC outlets, with banks 1 and 2 each housing 2x critical load outlets, and banks 3 and 4 housing 3x non-critical load outlets each. Separate circuit breakers are employed for critical/non-critical load outlets. Connections for linking an optional BATT1500-EXT are featured along with USB for computer connection, RS-232 serial for automation, infrared control connections via 3.5mm mono jack sockets, and IEC input for mains power. A single, global circuit breaker is positioned above the power input.
F1500-UPS E provides backup time for most critical digital A/V components, however if more runtime is needed, an optional BATT1500-EXT 1500VA battery pack may be employed to further increase runtime up to four times.
