CXL-4160 Transformer Module - 100V Line

This four-channel, 100V-line output transformer module may be fitted internally to 46/50, for feeding distributed systems. This has a shrouded screw terminal strip.

CXL-100T Transformer

CXL-100T is a 100V line driving transformer intended for use in high quality background music and public address applications in systems up to 100W rms. A 70V tap is provided for 70V line systems. The transformer is sectionally wound to give an extended high frequency response and low distortion. The CXL-100T is double wound to provide a fully isolated balanced output signal. The unit is mounted on an M6 fixing bush with screw terminal connectors (with connector cover) PCB mounted on a flying lead, that can be attached to the rear of the CXL-800 rack housing unit.

The CXL-100T must be mounted in a suitable enclosure to meet the required safety standards. No special ventilation provisions need to be made for CXL-100Ts as their high efficiency means little power is dissipated. As with all audio transformers it should not be mounted close to mains transformers or any other source of strong magnetic fields. If mounting close to main transformers is unavoidable then the cores should be arranged at 90°. Every CXL-100T is supplied with 1 x M6 nut, bolt and washer and 2 x M3 fixing screws for fixing the connector down.

CXL-800 Rack Housing

CXL-800 is available to provide convenient mounting of up to eight CXL-100Ts into a 2U 19" rack enclosure and includes provision for neatly tying cables. The CXL-800 is not intended to be used free standing and will not provide adequate protection in such a situation. The CXL-800 is designed to accommodate eight CXL-100Ts in static applications only. Extra support may be required in portable equipment. Depth 260mm (221mm without cover or connections).
