A selection of floor cable management products to enhance public safety and protect cables. Ranging from reusable strips, intended to hold and cover loose cables, to light and medium-duty rubber cable-protectors. All types can be cut to any length, while medium-duty types are supplied with connector pins to join multiple lengths together.
Cable Grip Strip
A neat and easy way to keep cables in place, and to eliminate the risk of cables becoming a hazard. These 75mm wide x 3 metre long strips have hooks on the rear, which grip to closed-loop commercial carpets. Intended for use on floors under desks or around floor perimeters. The strips can easily be cut to length and removed and reused as required - with no adhesive residue. Application note: Not intended for use in open-loop domestic type carpets, where fibres can be pulled out on removal of the Grip Strip.
Light Duty
These light duty, single-compartment cable protectors, fabricated from flexible PVC, uncoil to effectively lay flat across surfaces. The single compartment measuring 17 x 9mm, suitable for cable bundles such as 2 x 8mm diameter cables, provides effective protection in areas with light foot traffic. The base is a ribbed, non-slip, pre-split design, enabling users to simply retrofit over the cables. Available in 1.8 metre or 9.0 lengths.
Certified to BS EN 60670-1:2005
Medium Duty
These medium duty, linkable, single-compartment cable protectors, uncoil to effectively lay flat across surfaces. Fabricated from flexible PVC with tapered sloping sides, incorporating a yellow hazard stripe on each side, provide a highly-visible 'pedestrian-friendly' design. The single compartment measuring 30 x 10mm, suitable for cable bundles such as 3 x 8mm diameter cables, provides effective protection in areas with regular foot traffic. The base is a ribbed, non-slip, pre-split design, enabling users to simply retrofit over the cables.
Available in 1.8 metre or 9.0 metre lengths, each supplied with two connector pins, allowing a friction-fit connection that can be pushed-in, then later pulled apart. Lengths can be cut and joined to cover any cable length.
