The ConvertCon is a 'unisex' 3-pin connector, that converts between male and female by sliding the housing along the body. It is designed for emergency applications, avoiding the need for adapters.
Contacts are gold plated, and it is available with nickel (NC3FM-C) or black (NC3FM-C-B) plated bodies. It is based on the XX series connector, so BXX coloured glands and XXR coloured rings can be used.
Note: ConvertCon mates and latches with all current design Neutrik cable and panel connectors. Whilst mating, it does not latch with the older design NC3MD-L panel connector (it mates and latches with the newer version, NC3MD-LX).
Ordering Note
Note that the black plated female connector and the B suffix black shell is non-conductive. For applications where the XLR shell needs to be conductive the ConvertcCon connector would be unsuitable.
