FX-SPEC
Positive locking version of the 3FX socket, designed for applications where a secure connection is imperative, or to discourage microphone theft. A screw ring on the connector body operates the normal latch bar, forcing it upwards and retaining its position. The design of this ring permits close-coupling to most microphones, thus ensuring an extremely tight noiseless fit. A small hex-head screw locks the ring in the latched position, to discourage unauthorised removal. The secure ‘co-axial’ shell coupling also makes it particularly suitable for digital signal connections.
Ordering Note
Note that the black shell finish is non-conductive; for applications where the XLR shell needs to be conductive, please use the nickel plated versions.
