NEUTRIK NC4FAV-0 XLR Female PC mounting vertical

Plastic bodied XLR panel connectors from Neutrik, these have the smallest size and highest packing density (23mm between centres, except HL and HR type 25.5mm). The A series offers low cost basic plastic shell connectors. Female and male connectors have the same panel cutout and mountings, and all connectors have hard gold plated contacts with wiping-action design (female 5-pin versions also have tin plated pcb termination pins). Panel fastening of these connectors, which are not compatible with any other Neutrik design (due to the need to optimise packing density), is by self-tapping screws, type PT, with thread 2.9 x 1.06 (DIN7990), stock codes 40-927 (pan head) and 40-932 (countersunk).

There are a total of 4 orientations of the PCB pins in this series. Lateral types mount the PCB on one side, either left or right. These could be used, for example, on mixer channel modules.

Coloured escutcheons are available to suit 4-pin A-series connectors and 5-pin changeover switched (-SW) versions. Note that these are NOT suitable for use with 3-pin and other 4-pin non-changeover switched (-SW) version A-series connectors.

Ordering note: It will be appreciated that there are many possible combinations of features on A series female connectors. All those in production at date of going to press are detailed below, other versions can be manufactured to special order, subject to minimum quantities.
