CANFORD 237 (KRONE) PATCHCORDS

There are two types of Krone access plug for 237 series modules – two pole listen only (does not break the circuit) and 4 pole, which can be used to break or listen, depending on how it is wired and its orientation in the module.

For temporary path jumpering between Krone modules, a 2m double ended test cord allows circuits to be accessed on disconnection modules and patched over to other circuits. Two versions are available – LL: listen/listen and LB: listen/break. Usage will depend upon the signal paths concerned and the function of the patching. The plugs are marked with green dots (connected side) and red dots (unconnected side) to aid usage. All cords are manufactured from polyurethane jacketed twin screened cable, type HST-R-M.

Circuits can be accessed and connected to other equipment using the 2m Krone plug to B-gauge jack (Neutrik NP3TB) and 3 pin XLR test cords, each available in ‘listen’ format (green XLR gland or jack cover) and ‘break’ format (red XLR gland or jack cover). In the latter the B-gauge jack or XLR is wired to the ‘connected’ side of the Krone plug. There are also listen cables to 1/4 inch headphone jack sockets (wired to accept conventionally configured headphone plugs: tip = left, ring = right, sleeve = common).
