T-SUB-AX12B - 12-inch driver, 500W
Manufactured using 15mm birch plywood and finished with 'Tough-Tone' paint, Wharfedale T-Sub-AX12B is a subwoofer housing a 12-inch driver with a 2-inch voice coil. The class D inbuilt amplification offers 500W continuous and 1000W peak power, providing 130dB at 1m.
The wooden housing features a carry handle cut-out on each side, 35mm internal top-hat pole mount on the upper surface, rubber feet to prevent slipping, and steel manufactured front grille. The front grille houses an illuminated Wharfedale logo to signify power on. The rear facing panel, which also acts as convection cooling outlet, houses a balanced 3-pin XLR input and output for both A and B channels, with a single rotary volume controller. A polarity switch allows 0/180 degree control, and a further rotary controller allows the user to control the low pass filter frequency from 80Hz to 200Hz. Power is by way of standard IEC AC input, with green LED signifying power on. Finally, a red LED signifies when the limiting circuit is active.
