M3 - Cardioid - Condenser - 48V or battery powered
The M3, with a heavy duty' metal body, has been designed with stage, studio and location use in mind. The 1/2 inch capsule has internal shock mounting to reduce handling noise, and cardioid pickup pattern helps reject unwanted noise from behind the capsule.
A high pass filter at 80Hz, -12dB/octave, to reduce low frequency noise, as well as -10dB and -20dB attenuation pads to handle loud sounds, may be selected from inside the battery compartment. The M3 can be powered by either +24V or +48V phantom power, supplied from a suitable microphone input or phantom power interface, or by a single 9V battery. It has a 3-pin XLR connector.
