A lower cost alternative to the standard range of Sifam full specification VU meters. The specification for the AL range is based on BS6840 : Part 17, IEC 268-17 : 1990, but does not fully meet the dynamic range characteristics.
The AL-WF meters are suitable for rear of panel mounting, together with bezel, with a rear zero adjust and tab terminals as standard, except for AL20SQ which is front-mounted. Top illumination kits are available as optional accessories.
AL20SQ, which is a front-mounted, ‘vintage’ look meter, with rounded corner bezel, comes complete with 150mm flying leads and back mounted external LED illumination, (back mounted Festoon lamp or internal mounted LED illumination options available on specific request).
The AL-RETRO meters are suitable for front of panel mounting, and feature the distinctive ‘vintage retro’ stylings of the AL20SQ. The casing is black ABS, with beige scale, with a rear zero adjust and 12V LED illumination as standard. AL15 has flying leads, AL19 has 6.3mm tab terminals.
