These cost-effective enclosures push-fit into a flat surface by means of a circular hole, and provide a metal plate for mounting connectors below surface level. The ABS moulding is fitted with two pairs of knockouts on the side and bottom. The upper assembly snaps into the outer flange, the rotating cover revealing three holes allowing a variety of cables to pass through the “lid”. Whilst the snap-in lid is not water-tight and should not be used in floors where liquid-polishers are in use, detritus such as the occasional splash of cola or errant ball-point pens will be excluded.
They are supplied with a 1.5mm anodised aluminium plate, to allow the user to fit connectors as required. The unobstructed panel area is approximately 74mm × 90 mm, with a clearance of 40mm below the plate, and 22mm between the upper surface and the lid.
