Using the same basic module, four versions are available, providing an SDI input and optical output. Each version has a different SFP installed, providing LC, ST or SC singlemode fibre connections or an LC version suitable for multimode fibre. Singlemode versions offer up to 10km range for 3G SDI, the multimode version offers up to 300m for 3G SDI. A re-clocked SDI loopthrough output is also provided.
OTX 1812 LC |

The OTX 1812 may typically be paired with a fibre optic to SDI receiver, such as a yellobrik ORX 1802, to achieve a cost-effective optical transmission / receiver system for signals up to 1080p60 (3Gbit/s), while preserving full uncompressed quality.
The OTX 1812 will auto-detect any connected video signal from 270Mbit/s to 3Gbit/s according to SMPTE 424M, SMPTE 292M and SMPTE 259M standards, as well as DVB-ASI.
