Wiring specifications for many public buildings now call for LFH cables to be used in certain areas, notably in corridors, risers etc. Under combustion circumstances, LFH cables have significantly reduced smoke emission, and the gaseous products contain no toxic halogens.
DKM-LFH is of similar construction to standard DKM, except that the PVC jacket is replaced by LFH materials. The performance is unchanged, although the bending radius is slightly greater as LFH materials are not as flexible as PVC.
