CANFORD BRUSH STRIP CABLE ACCESS PANELS - Half Rack Width

A range of half rack width blanking panels with a slotted cut-out allowing system cables and patch cords to be easily accessed at the front of the rack. Panels may be attached to any half rack-width equipment fitted with mounting flanges using optional joining plates or mounted in Canford half-rack universal wallboxes. The cut-out measuring 167mm x 25mm, is masked by a 'brush' strip to maintain rack air-cooling efficiency and give a tidy appearance to the opening.

Manufactured from a lightweight but extremely rigid aluminium extrusion, panels are offered with a designation strip and lacing bar, allowing cables to be secured to avoid them dropping back in to the rack. The lacing bar is supplied unassembled and can be fitted to the front or rear of the panel. The snap-on cover designation-strip holder permits the supplied paper strips to be inserted before or after installation; 7.5mm of printable height is available. Templates for printing designation strip labels, available as a DWG file for AutoCAD and compatible applications, can be downloaded from the appropriate product page on the Canford website.

Spare designation-strip paper inserts (not suitable for printers) and clear covers are available.

Available finished in Dawn Grey (BS4800-10A03) or Black.

Application note:

If a larger aperture is required, two panels may be mounted adjacent to each other with the lower one inverted giving an opening of 168mm x 50mm.
