Designed for transporting rack-mounted equipment these fly racks use the SKB iSeries injection moulded utility cases as the outer container. The cases each contain a removable rack cage, manufactured from aluminium alloy with 11-gauge steel front and back rack rails. Once the rack cage is inserted into the outer case and the lid is closed, the rack cage is supported by 'high density' polyurethane foam blocks to add shock absorption.

An automatic ambient pressure equalisation valve and IP67 submersible properties 'contribute to their military design'. All models include TSA latches for easier airport control checks.
