These pre-terminated, singlemode LEMO F2 Fibre patchcords can be used without the need for epoxy, or polishing, when utilised for fibre splicing and panel repairs. Installation of LEMO SMPTE connectors in panel applications can be simplified by the use of LEMO “F2” patchcords for fibre splicing or “F2” to industry standard connectors such as ST, FC/PC, LC or E2000 for installation or repairs.
Manufactured utilising singlemode 9/125μm cable. These F2 pre-terminated patchcords are entirely compatible with, and are designed for use with, the LEMO 3K.93C Series. They are also compatible with any connector where the standard LEMO F2 contact is used.
Assembly of these patchcords into the LEMO 3K.93C hybrid fibre connector is straightforward - the LEMO F2 fibre contact simply clicks into the back of the connector insulator.
