The computer industry 100 ohm Category 7 standard provides performance up to 600MHz, and is suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and other high speed applications. Category 7 defines more stringent specifications than those applicable to Category 6 at higher frequencies.
This stranded S/FTP design has individual foil screens for all four pairs, plus an overall braid screen and is available with a Low Fire Hazard ('LSOH') jacket.
