NEUTRIK FIBERFOX

Fiberfox from Neutrik is a range of hermaphroditic expanded beam fibre optic connectors designed to meet the requirements of MIL-DTL-83526 specifications and operate in harsh environments for an array of applications including: Lighting, Network, PA, Video, Broadcast, Defense and Government.

Benefiting from expanded beam technology and precision optical alignment the Fiberfox system creates high immunity against dust, mud, liquids and other contaminations. The panel connectors are the first of their kind to convert a standardised LC patch cable into an expanded beam solution acting as a 'feed-through' and fitting into a D-series, Universal connection system, cutout shell.

Available in two channel and four channel multimode variants the panel connectors are rated to IP68 specifications and offer the benefit of being easily installed and serviced without the need for specialist tools or training, as well as compatibility with other fibre optic systems allowing for seamless integration.

Tested to 10,000 mating cycles. Front or rear panel mounting. Operating temperature: -40 degrees celcius to +70 degrees celcius. Insertion loss: Typically 0.9dB per connector, maximum 1.45dB per connector. Materials: Steel insert, Aluminum shell, hard anodized shell plating, Brass strain relief.

Note: Neutrik recommend patchcords with a strain relief diameter of 5mm or less to prevent the patchcords splaying.
