These floor-standing lecterns combine a sloping script-space with, below, a sliding shelf for a keyboard, a fixed shelf (15U version only) and a rack cabinet for AV equipment such as a mixer-amplifier or media player. Intended for use in such environments as board rooms, universities, lecture theatres and conference centres. They are made using high-density particle board, finished with ash, oak, beech or walnut veneer.
The cabinet has a full-height door facing the audience, hinged at the left and fastened with a single cylinder lock. A door faces the presenter, covering the 18U rack space below the keyboard shelf on the 18U version and covering the 15U rack space below the fixed shelf on the 15U version. It is hinged at the left and is fitted with a handle and a cylinder lock. Both doors use quick-release hinges of the kind found on kitchen cabinets. Both sides are machined to provide ventilation slots.
Inside the cabinet, two lengths of punched steel, rack-mounting strips are fitted, positioned on the side facing the presenter, but recessed by 75mm from the door to provide clearance for controls, handles or connectors on the front panels of equipment. On the floor of the cabinet, the base has a cut-out for cables, on the side situated towards the audience. A cut-out in the very top provides cable access for such as microphone cables.
Supplied fully assembled, the lecterns are constructed in 19mm high-density particle board with real Oak, Ash, Beech or Walnut veneer and are finished with a pre-catalyst lacquer to a satin sheen. They are fitted with four medium duty castors.
Lectern height: 1230mm, including castors. Lectern width: 570mm. Lectern depth: 610mm overall, 490mm useable.
