A small diameter multipair cable based on Canford’s HSJ series flexible individually jacketed multipair cable. The design is similar but uses smaller conductors and thinner insulation in order to obtain a reduced diameter offering good handling characteristics. MSJ3 is specifically intended for use with M-S and other stereo microphones, but is suitable for a range of other applications requiring a reduced diameter, flexible screened 3-pair cable, including ENG.
To give further usage options, there are 3 additional single wires, which can be used for DC, signalling, control etc., plus an overall foil screen under the outer jacket to provide further screening.
