Flexible ‘starquad’ multicore cable based on a BBC specification. Suitable for microphone multicores in noisy environments, especially near thyristor controlled lighting. This is an updated version of the original BBC PIF28/1 specification, offering 8 quads, plus a special extra-flexible PVC/elastomer jacket. There is a UK broadcast industry wiring convention for termination onto the 26 pin bayonet lock connector (the BBC convention), details of which are available on request.
