Reusable field-termination RJ45 connectors, intended for use on-site when a fast, fully compliant, CAT6A termination is required.
Robust nickel-plated zinc-alloy shell housings with integrated RJ45 plug. Available in three types with different methods of strain-relief: one with plastic 'click-down' with four settings; metallic screw-on; or with right-angle metallic screw-on, allowing cable entry to be set from four directions.
All types have a separate IDC termination block where separated pairs are inserted. Pressing the block together with a parallel press tool or pliers completes the termination. The IDC block is inserted into the main connector housing. Braided shielding or drain wire should be folded back to make contact with a grounding plate at the rear of the connector before securing the strain-relief, and completing the assembly.
Suitable for use with 5.0 - 9.0mm outer diameter cable for 'click-down' type, and 5.5 - 10.0mm for screw-on types. All types are suitable for 22 - 24AWG solid conductors, or 22/7 - 27/7AWG for stranded conductors. Maximum core outer-diameter including insulation: 1.6mm.
